Hi, I am in need for some advice. Mt NAS drive failed due to a power cut. The unit will power up and will not boot (the led on the backup button flashes fast). I am hopeful that I will get a replac...
HELP.
As you see from the above my NAS Drive is dead and I did not make a backup of the data (family movies / pictures of my children from birth / school documents / work etc). A lesson now understood. I've been on to Netgear support and as the NV+ V2 is now discontinued it seems that I will not be able to get a replacement.
Is there anyone in the west midlands area (UK) who would be willing to allow me to insert my disks into their NAS drive (NV+ V2) so that I can make a copy of the data on an external drive?
Data recovery may be outside my expertise.
Really need someone help here.
