ReadyNAS NV+ with 4 x 1TB drives

I’m using my ReadyNAS NV+ for my Sonos music library. A recent upgrade to my Sonos app revealed a problem reading my music library on my nas. Sonos requires SMB 2 or 3 support. I believe my nas supports SMB 1/ CI FS. How do I update my nas to SMB 2 or 3?

I am thinking you have the original NV+ (running 4.1.x firmware).  That's a really old NAS.  You can't update it to use SMB 3.  There is a setting to enable experimental support for SMB 2.  No idea if that will be enough for Sonos.

Thank you for your response. I think that solution is beyond my pay grade.  I don’t know even how to get to etc/.

Does the Sonos S1 controller app work?
