ReadyNAS NV+ Won't Boot
Hi. I have a ReadyNAS NV+ that suddenly won't boot--completely dead. It seems to be the same or a similar issue as this user and others have had, the premature PSU failure:

My serial number is
000DA20183F4
The unit was purchased new from Amazon in October 2007.
I called Netgear tech support just now and the person I spoke with insisted that their tech support database said the serial number was invalid and all Netgear serial numbers begin with a 1, 2, 3 or 4 and are 13 digits. I asked him to try entering the serial number above with a leading 1, 2, 3 or 4 but he had no luck. He said he was unable to to help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after some more questions from him (did I buy it new etc.) he put me on hold to transfer me but after a long wait, my call was disconnected instead. Total call time was 45 minutes.
I'm hoping to have more success here. What should I do next?
Best regards,
Shaun
