ReadyNas Pro - Side Fan - Noisy and Clicks
Hey Since i got my ReadyNas Pro the side fan never seemed to be as quite as as i thought it should, every now and then it would make odd noises, which generally didnt bother me as the unit itself ...
Which ReadyNAS Pro model do you have and when did you purchase it? The Pro Pioneer has a 3 year warranty. The Pro Business Edition and the new Pro Series (Pro 2/4/6) have 5 year warranties.
Replacing the fan with a 3rd party fan voids the warranty. I'd suggest working through the issue with NetGear tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support)
