ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition & PWM Fan
Does anyone know if a 4pin PWM fan works properly (as in with speed adjustment) on a Pro mobo? The 4pin header is there, but the unit had shipped with 3pin fan that got swapped to the daughter board. I'm upgrading the CPU and I found a 92mm low profile fan (Titan TFD-9515M12ZP) that fits on the existing 80mm cpu mount. Almost the same cfm as the original. It of course only comes in a PWM version :smileymad:

I am not sure about the fan you found but I got the following fan and replaced the powersuply fan in my ReadyNAS Pro Buisness when the fan started to fail. I did have to cut the plug from the origional fan and splice it onto the new one but it has been working perfectly for a few months now.
