ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition died #24586841
Hi all,
Yesterday night my NAS died. Turned itself off and that was it. Does not turn on no matter what I do. Took the PSU out to have a look inside: no bulged capacitors. Shorted green to ground and the PSU boots and all voltages measure correctly.
What could I be looking at? I have no spare CPU or RAM to try them out. Could this be any of those, the motherboard or something else entirely?
Would really appreciate any help, all my backups are in this thing, this NAS really is fundamental for my business.
Luis

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWe don't sell replacement PSUs. We replace the entire unit if it fails under the 5 year limited hardware warranty.
- laalves1AspirantIn my case, it didn't boot with an external ATX PSU I tried.
