ReadyNAS RAID Configuration

The current one is 4 Gb size. No idea what the original one was. Something is really screwy with it though. I've tried nearly every possible combination of RAID settings (literally checking them off a big chart one at a time) while scanning an area of the drive that's full of digital camera photos. But no matter what setting I use, it's all striped data. However if I compare the same sector in hex across all three drives the parity is right. It's as if it's using a parity delay or a different parity rotation, but that shouldn't be possible from what you guys are telling me.
