Readynas RN104 - intermittent WOL after rn_shutdown command
Good Afternoon
I have a readynas RN104 running firmwre 6.10.3. The power in my house is intermittent and dies for pastime, so i purchased a UPS which can only shutdown one device at a time. The UPS is connected to my PC via USB, and when the PC shutdowns event id 1074 is triggered which calls a powershell script to connect to the NAS via SSH and shutdown the RN104 (uses rnutil rn_shutdown as the command)
If i turn the system off using frontview or the button on the front, the system starts up via WOL send to the teamed MCA address every time (i did this during testing)
Using the rn_shutdown command, the WOL command seems to work intermittently
Is there anything weird that the rn_shutdown command does differently do the command via frontview?
I've tried the script on the following link but i get a forbidden error using this method
Cheers

The button and the rn_shutdown command does the same thing. There might be something that is happening on your RN104 that might need to be checked or have you tried doing the same procedure on another NAS and get the same result?

Did you modify that script as described here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/Curl-does-not-work-any-more-since-upgrade-to-6-9-3-on-RN316/m-p/1535788#M143769
