ReadyNAS RN2120 Does Not Show All Discs Under Volumes
I am trying to set up my ReadyNAS RN2120. I bought this as a diskless unit and have added 4x Western Digital WD40EFRX 4TB SATA drives. All matched, all the same. Strange thing is that the NAS only sees two of the drives. All four drives have blue lights on the front, no red lights.
I have had the NAS for a few months now before setting it up. When I first put the drives in one was dead already, so I had to wait for it to be replaced. When it had the bad drive fitted, all four drives were visible, just one had a red light on the front. The NAS recommended an update to the firmware, so I accepted. Could this be the cause of my problem now?
I hope someone can shed some light on this for me...

What firmware are you running? Were the drives formatted before you inserted them?
Can you post a screenshot of the volume page from the web ui?

Thanks for replying to my post.
The NAS is running firmware 6.6.0.
This is a screen shot of the problem...
All four bays have drives fitted. All four were new, as far as I was concerned and had not been formatted. Is there any way that I can find out if they have already been formatted?

Thanks, the screen shot helps. First I'd try swapping disk-1/disk2 and disk-3/disk-4. You can do this with the NAS running.
If the problem follows the disks, then check the undetected disks with WDC's lifeguard program in a Windows PC.
If the problem remains (and doesn't follow the disks), then try rebooting the NAS.
