ReadyNas RND4000 V4 cannot connect with remote server
Model: Ready NAS NV+ V2;
Firmware 5.3.5
Windows 10 Pro
"A connection to the server could not be established; this error may occur if you are on a network that uses a proxy server or
if you have previously configured Leaf to use a proxy server and the proxy server has changed.
Would you like to configure ReadyNAS Remote to use a proxy to connect to the Internet?"
I had been able remote connect to my NAS when I am away from home using the ReadyNAS Remote for the past 9-10 years. This month, I cannot established connection and I received the above message. Please help on re-establishing remote access connection

I'm surprised you were able to use Ready Remote with the NV+ v2, as Netgear deprecated it back in September 2017.
It was replaced with ReadyCloud, which only supported OS-6 NAS. That was turned off last month.
You will need another solution for remote access. Personally I use the Open VPN service built into my Orbi router.

I suggest upgrading the firmware to the final version (5.3.13)
Also, if you are working around ssl protocol/cipher mismatch errors when you browse to the NAS admin ui, there is an add-on you can install to add TLS 1.2 support to your NAS.
