ReadyNAS Ultra 6, Clicking Fan or Drive?
Only had the Utlra 6 for about 2 weeks now and I'm being annoyed by a continuous clicking or scratching sound coming from the back of the unit at the top fan. I've been trying to read the forum posts ...

Sounds like a cable hitting one of the fans. I'd check those first before looking into if it is a drive or not.
Did you speak with support yet? If not, remove the left side panel (with the fan grill on it). Check the CPU fan right there, see if a cable is nearby that could be playing with it. Same with the back large fan.
If they look okay, another thing to try is power down, remove all disks (label order), and power back on with no disks. Leave it for a bit, see if you can still hear the noise (to rule out the disks causing it).
Btw, I like your introduction in the audio clip.
