ReadyNAS Ultra 6, Clicking Fan or Drive?
Only had the Utlra 6 for about 2 weeks now and I'm being annoyed by a continuous clicking or scratching sound coming from the back of the unit at the top fan. I've been trying to read the forum posts ...

Did you check for cables hitting a fan? With tight confines in computers and the ReadyNAS it is not frequent, but not uncommon. While I have not had a problem from the factory, I did have it once after reassembly following a thorough cleaning to get the dust out.
If it is reasonably audible and consistent and frequent that may well be the cause. If it is fairly low in noise and sporadic, then it may be a drive. A wire being hit by a plastic fan sound a lot like a playing card that has been attached so it is hit by the spokes of a bicycle wheel (if you ever did that as a kid).
