ReadyNASDuo SATA Version Compatibility
I have a 3 year old ReadyNASDuo RND 2150 that I used until last year with 2 Seagate 500GB SATA drives. Last summer one of the drives died and, being that I had another solution also, I did not bother to replace it and the NAS has just sat on the shelf since then. Recently I decided to see if I can carry on using it, but noticed that nearly all 500GB drives are now SATA III. As far as I can see the NAS manua lmentions compatibility with SATA I & II. Can I replace the dead drive with a SATA III drive (same size)? i.e. use 1 x 500GB SATA and 1 x 500GB SATA III?
IF I cannot mix those drives, will I still be able to use two new SATA III drives with that NAS version?
Many thanks

I'm just wondering though, if that list is not longer updated for this older NAS model, whether perhaps I'm not going to find any drives on there that are still sold? I'll check it out anyway.
