RECOMMENDED Hard Disks for ReadyNAS Duo v2
Hello, I have discovered the HCL, but does anyone actually have a RECOMMENDATION for hard disks they have used with the ReadyNAS Duo v2 which they are actually happy with ? (please note this must be...
I initially failed to install 2 of these drives in my Duo v2 using XRAID 2.
However, the following sequence worked:
. Reboot (factory settings) - see p17 of Hardware Manual
. Launch Raidar, and select Flex-Raid, Raid 1
. Volume C is created, with 1841 GB :-)
[please excuse multiple follow-ups to my earlier multiple-threads, but I wanted to spread the word. I am so relieved not to have wasted my money on un-usable drives !]
