Registering Used ReadyNAS
Hi I'm trying to register a used ReadyNAS - but can't submit the registration form as it's obviously been used before.
Can anyone help?

In any case the ReadyNAS NV+ isn't compatible with ReadyCLOUD. ReadyCLOUD is only available for systems that are running ReadyNAS OS 6.

Unfortunately you can't register a used NAS. The warranty is not transferable, and Netgear's support policy is not to provide paid support for used equipment.
Hi - thanks for the reply. I neither need or want any warranty or support (thus the message to your 'community'), however I was under the impression to use ReayCLOUD I needed to register the device - maybe I can do it another way?
I also see many other posts where the serial is transferred to the new owner.
