Renaming shares on ReadyNas214
Please help, I've got a ReadyNas 214 (Firmware 6.10.5 Arm) Nas drive installed and accessed on a Windows 10 computer. Under the hood are twox10TB Seagate Ironwolf hard drives. My problem is that I want to rename some of the shares but cannot find a way to do this. I tried renaming them using Windows file explorer, but unfortunatley there is no such option. Last had a similar experience when I bought a pair of trousers only to find it had no pockets :). Apologies for the misplaced analogy. Thanks.

You rename them via the Admin web ui - https://nas-ip-address/admin (using the real IP address of course).
Select the "Shares" page, and then click on the settings wheel of the share you want to rename. There will be a pop-up that opens on the "properties" tab. The name of the share is shown there, and you can edit it.

I see what you mean, makes perfect sense. Thanks man, your help is greatly appreciated. I'm currently working away from home this weekend. I will follow your instructions when I get back home. Although I will consider this question as solved, its good practice for me to update if its actually worked for me, which I will do.
