repeated failure on same disk

I have a Readynas NV. DIsk 2 has failed 3 separate times. I am wondering if there can be a problem with the NV. Each time it has been a new drive added. The reallocated sector count will start increasing until I get a message that the smart assessment has failed. I am skeptical that I keep getting a bad drive on the same bay.

Both drives flagged as having excessive reallocated sectors passed the seatools long generic tests.
How many reallocated sectors are reported in Seatools (you can access the SMART info, it is separate from the tests).
  • SeaTools for Windows only gives a pass/fail for the SMART test. I don't know about the other versions.
  • As PapaBear indicated Seatools for Windows is only indicating the both drives passed the test. No additional info re: the disks is available.

sorry - WD lifeguard lets you see the smart parameters, but not seatools. (note lifeguard will show them for any disks, including seagate)
