Generally DM Seagates haven't worked out that well with RAID (though most of the problems are with the 3 TB model). I'd get a 4 TB NAS-purposed drive (Seagate Ironwolf or WDC Red). You can mix/match models (and even manufacturers) with no problem.
Personally I wouldn't get a used drive for my NAS (though there are posters who do).
