Replacing a hard drive
I have a Readynas Duo with two identical Seagate Barracuda 1TB drives (ST31000528AS). One of the drives just died and I need to replace it. Can I replace it with a different type of drive? From rea...
Mixing drive models is fine (and some people think it actually is a good idea).
Though I am running some of the WD Green drives, when the time comes to replace them I will go with the Red label.
