Replacing both active disks in DUO v1
How can I prevent losing data when I want to replace both disks (X-RAID) in my DUO v1? Just swap one at a time after each synchronization is completed? (And yes I will be making a back-up to an external USB-drive prior to swapping internal disks, just to be safe  )
My main question -- does it matter if the source data for synchronization is found on disk #1 or #2, or partly on both?
Thanks

- The drives are in RAID-1 mode so all the data is mirrored on both disks.
So after the backup, all you need to do is hot-swap one of the disks, wait for the synchronization to complete, then hot-swap the second - which will synchronize, and (assuming the sizes are larger) will then expand.
In addition to backing up your data first, it would be sensible to upload your configuration to your PC (via frontview).

Thanks again Stephen!
As you may have read elsewhere on this forum, I am now thinking of a pair of WD Red WD10EFRX.
