Request: Java SE Embedded 7 for ARMv7

Question

Hello respected add-on developers,I would like to request:Java SE Embedded 7 for ARMv7 (ReadyNAS 102,104), see link:http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/ejre/7u45-b15/ejre-7u45-fcs-b15-linux-arm-vfp-sflt-client_headless-26_sep_2013.tar.gzSince this Java client is mandatory to run third party software like Serviio on the Readynas ARM boxes.Would it be possible to make a deb. package to install this via the OS6 gui?Thanks in advance.Cheers,Fremko

Genie+ Marketplace depends on openjdk-6-jre-headless, which currently is version 6u27. Will your Serviio run with that version?

There is also a package for openjdk-7-jre-headless, so you could try 'apt-get install openjdk-7-jre-headless' from an SSH terminal to the NAS. That is version 7u25. The Local Upload option in the GUI does accept .deb files. So you could try downloading and installing this one: http://security.debian.org/debian-secur ... _armel.deb

Which is very helpful!However do you know if the below packages are available for the ARM Readynas 102/104 to run Serviio?--------Linux users need to install the FFmpeg package (incl. libRTMP, libASS, libx264 and libmp3lame) for their OS distributions or, ideally, compile FFmpeg using the source files.------Please let me know.Thank you,Fremske
