OK, run SeaTools on an oldish PC with a floppy drive (could not save the SeaTools logs, which could not be written to CD).
All SeaTools tests were passed (again), including the ERASE test. No particular infos about finding and relocating/moving bad/slow sectors but I do not know if this would have been reported.
My general feeling is that the disk was fine all along, and ReadyNAS threw a wobble /false alarm. I just checked the firmware, it is on RAIDiator 5.3.9, and I have downloaded 5.3.10 which I will install shortly, but there seem to be no relevant changes / bug fixes, only enhancements to cater for newer systems.
We played safe, but "better safe than sorry" - old adagios have a reason to exist !
Thanks !
Here is the SeaTools Logs, I was experimenting as I did not know if it wrote a new log or it added to it everytime.
