RN104 HDD combination
I've a ReadyNas 104 with 2x1TB and 1x500GB HDD X-RAID mode (RAID5). Now I'm planning to buy a new HD, I'm thinking about a 2TB or a 2TB WD RED. Probably in a few months I'll buy another one in ord...

~5 TB (reported as ~4.5 TiB). 1 TiB is 1024*1024*1024*1024 bytes, 1 TB is 1000*1000*1000*1000 bytes.
This is ignoring a small overhead for the OS partition and formatting.
The rule for single redundancy is to ignore the largest drive, and sum the rest.
