RN10400 Theme APPS not installing
Hi, I recently updated my RN10400 with two hard disks. It went fine, but now my apps (plex app) have disappeared from my Netgear RN10400. What can I do to get them back?
Regards GhostHunter
I have chosen to reset my RedyNas to factory settings. Now the plex app is back. I have all the files still on another hard drive. Thank you to all who tried to help me. Have a nice weekend

What exactly did you do? A factory reset, or something else?

I have synchronized data and added two hard drives to the system. I have not deleted any data. I have access to what's on, but I've lost Apps

That's odd.
What firmware are you running?
- GHOSTHUNTERAspirant
Hi. I'm running windows 10
- GHOSTHUNTERAspirant
I understand I'm using 6.7.5 version on my ReadyNas.

Are you saying that plex was installed, and now has disappeared?
Or has it just disappeared from the "available apps" page in the web ui?
- GHOSTHUNTERAspirant
Plex was installed. And has now disappeared. I can not find it on installed programs or on available apps

I don't know why it disappeared from the apps page. It hasn't been on the available apps page for about a year.
You can try downloading it from https://www.plex.tv/downloads/ and then installing it using the upload control on the apps page.

This was the first thing I did and download from https://www.plex.tv/downloads/. It is not working

How did it fail?

What's happening, I upload the file from Netgear from plex.no. Then pick up three choices. Intel 6.x. Arm 6.x. And Arm 6.x Rn 2xx. No matter who of them. I post up the wrong message. Unable to install the application, plexmedia server - Ros6 - Binaries

Odd. FWIW the one you want is Arm 6.x.
Have you tried installing SMBPlus (just as a test).

Have you tried to install SMBPlus (just like a test). Where do I find this one?
- StephenBGuru - Experienced User
It's a Netgear app, and it should show up in available apps.
If you want to try manually uploading from the apps page, here's a download link: http://apt.readynas.com/packages/readynasos/dists/apps/pool/s/smbplus/smbplus_1.0.6_armel.deb

When trying to install smbplus. I get up .. Can not install smbplus. Could it be that I have to shut up the system again. So back to factory settings ??

Hello GHOSTHUNTER,
Have you tried on a different web browser?
The Plex add-on may need to be grabbed from the Plex website that StephenB mentioned while the SMB Plus app is listed on the available apps and you should be able to install it. How about rebooting the ReadyNAS first?
Regards,
- GHOSTHUNTERAspirant
I usually use Google Chrome. I have taken a reboot of RedyNas. Have tried another browser (Mozilla). Trying to install smbplus. Answer can not install the program. The same goes for Plexmedia server Ros6. Can I look like I have to reset RedyNas to factory settings?

Is your ReadyNAS using a static IP address?
