I have a 314 with 4 2TB WD Reds that I use for storing photographs -- about 3 TB now -- on a gigabit network. I use Photoshop and Bridge.
I'm very happy with the performance of the 314. No complaints.
I did start out with a 104 and returned it within two weeks. The performance for photo uploading, sorting, and editing was unacceptable.
