Jan 15, 2016[RN202-100NES] Spin-down not working - wake up after seconds
Hello Guys :)
I am new on ReadyNas devices, but have the following problem:
The Hard Drives itself spins down, but after some seconds its spins up again. Didnt matter which time I choose for spindown!
I already tried do deinstall all Apps without success
and tried to change all cronjobs only executed once a day, also without success I would say.
I am NOT using antivirus or antivirus plus.
Using: ReadyNAS RN202-100NES
HDDs: 2x ST2000DM001-9YN164 (2TB Seagate with 7200RPM) (Devices are in Compability List)
Firmware: ReadyNAS OS 6.4.1
I already made the trick with "echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/block_dump" for over an hour an created a logfile.
But I didnt know anything about it.
Hope anybody can help ? :/
Can you try turning off IPv6 temporarily to see if the device remains in spindown mode?

I hope you mean the Services which I can setup on ReadyNAS OS webinterface ?
The following Service are running: SMB, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH

Yes, those. As you mentioned uninstalling all your apps, I would conclude there are no apps running.
