RN212 ReadyNAS access

Im thinking i have a setting issue on the Readynas RN212.

 

I can access the Nas through web browser(HTTP) and admin login, but when i use windows explorer (FTP?) my admin login says that access is denied. This was previously working on a indows 7PC, I now use windows 10 .Any suggestions?

    Windows Explorer uses SMB, not FTP.

     

    Have you set up NAS user accounts via the admin Web UI?  Generally you want to set up a user account.  Then set up a credential in the Windows Credential Manager to access the NAS using that username.
