RN316 - won't resolve host name to update software
Sought to update my two RN316's today to latest operating system version. I use 2 NAS' with one as the primary and the other as backup. Began with the backup NAS and clicked to download the new sof...
Of course one option is to download the firmware to a PC and manually install it onto the NAS.
Does the backup NAS use a static IP address? If so, did you remember to configure a DNS server? 8.8.8.8 (google's public server) is a reasonable choice.
