First - Netgear ships 1GB memory modules with their x-86 based units which use DDR2 and DDR3 memory and the ARM based units which I believe use DDR3. The sparc based ReadyNAS units use DDR memory modules. Please make sure the slots in the modules are in the same place before you attempt to install it. The key slot is in different spots on DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 memory (both DIMM and SO-DIMM modules).
