RR3312 Comaptible Disks - WD 2TB RE WD2004FBYZ Phased Out
The 2TB WD RE WD2004FBYZ 3.5" SATA drive on Netgear's approved drive compatibility list has been phased out/discontinued.
Can you confirm that Netgear will support WD's replacement for that older disk? See model number below:
The new model is MFR# WD2005FBYZ WD RE Enterprise 2TB 3.5" SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 128MB Cache

Hello SalesSE,
I understand that you would like to verify if WD2005FBYZ hard drive will work with with our Readynas device RR3312. The Readynas HCL is frequently updated and unfortunately WD2005FBYZ is not listed. I would recommend to get a hard drive that are listed of the HCL.
Note: NETGEAR Support can and will deny support on devices using drives not found on the official compatibility list.
