SATA 600 in Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ RND4000
Hi, Is it possible to use SATA III disks in the Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ RND4000? For example the Barracuda Green 5900.3. I understand that the disk will only run at SATA II speed and performance,...
So have you already purchased the NV+?
If you don't already have a NV+, I would suggest purchasing an x86 ReadyNAS (e.g. Ultra, Pro). These are much faster than the NV+. Also x86 ReadyNAS support 3TB drives which means they are much more future proof.
