Scheduling NetGear NAS OS 6 Audit Logs to copy to a separate file share Sending
Not sure exactly what model we have but we are using ReadyNAS 6. Posted about 19 months ago or so about getting NAS archive logs into Splunk. Te suggestion was to connect to the NAS and use CLI to dump the logs. When we goto enable SSH we get a message stating doing so may void the warrenty. I have also seen it mentioned other places. Voiding the warrenty isn't an option. So is there any place in the GUI or any other way to have archive logs saved on a schedule instead of manually doing it? If CLI is the only option where are the CLI commands for NAS OS 6 and is there anyway to use them with out voiding the warrenty?
Thks Sandshark we probably will then.
