Judging by my system, there is no indication that it was ever done.
1)The serial number falls into the correct range.
2)The fan speed idles around 1600.
3)I can't find any settings to up the RPM speed.
Yet I just got this (new, not open box) NAS NV+ 2 weeks ago from Newegg, and it has been sold out multiple times before, so this should be from a new stock.
It just seems odd that 4 months after "New ReadyNAS NV+ that will get into the field will be shipped with 2100 min RPM." I end up with one??
You may have received something that's been in the stock pipeline from a distributor that NewEgg uses. It doesn't hurt to apply the patch even if it was applied before, but yours does not have the patch already installed.
