Swap disks between readynas units.
Hi! Is it possible to use disks from an existing RND2000 Duo V2 system (data on the disks) in a Netgear ReadyNAS 102 2-Bay NAS? To my knowledge they have the same CPU architecture? (Marvell ARM CPU ...
No.
The problem is not the processor, it's the operating system and the filesystem on the disks.
The following are 5 lists, each list of units would allow disks to be moved between them.
102/104/2120
312/314/316/516/3220/4220/716
Pro/NVX/Ultra/2100/3100/3200/4200
NV+(v2)/Duo(v2)
NV+(v1)/Duo(v1)/NV/1100/1000/X6/600
You will need to setup the new nas and transfer the data across a network, possibly using backup jobs.
