System reporting fan failure but it isn't.

Front view is saying Fan 3 on my system failed and the blowers are running at full speed. I checked and all the fans are running just fine. I went as far as disconnecting one at a time and confirm all is normal in the case.

The alert doesn't bother me but the loud fan is annoying. Is there anything I can do? Any way to overide the system and adjust the system fan speeds?

    Which firmware are you running?

What does Frontview say about a fan failing?

I was on 6.5 until last month, I factory reset everything and updated to 6.6 still same issue. FV status says fan not working, log reads: System: Fan fan3 in enclosure Internal speed is below threshold. (0 rpm).

but as far as I can see all fans are spinning

To me that sounds like the fan isn't "reporting back" to the NAS. Try switching say fan 2 and 3. If it still says fan 3 isn't working then you know it's something with the fan 3 connector on the NAS itself. But if it says that fan 2 isn't working, then it's something to do with the fan and I'd just buy a new one since they're cheap. ;)

If it's the NAS then you could most definitely override the fan speeds in one way or another but it's probably gonna give you a headache and be very time consuming and I can't help you with that part, unfortunately.
