"the board is temporarily unavailable"
Someone needs to give this server love and care like I used to do.
It is frequently going offline due to high system load.
Sorry but the board is temporarily unavailable, please try again in a few minutes.
Load : 83.93 <-- umm, ouch!

- bodiedooAspirantToo bad I can't just host it. While me, a consumer, has a extra server in a colocation facility with plenty of power to host a phpbb forum like this; It's sad that netgear can't. I love the community and although I don't post much I still read most of it.
Too bad Someone else can't host the site, instead of netgear. . Hey chirpa do you by any chance have access to the acp?
EDIT: Are you using 3.0.11? Wow the load goes from .2 all the way to .99 in a few secs - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredApparently the board is still on 3.0.9. Hasn't been updated since chirpa left.
They should either put the forum on a decent server or give the forum db to a user like WhoCares? to host. - bodiedooAspirant

Exactly
There have been a lot of improvements since 3.0.9 - chirpaLuminary

- chirpaLuminaryCan do. Already had this talk with yoh-dah before we left, and had no objections from the rest of NTGR management.
- bodiedooAspirantGreat minds think alike
- chirpaLuminaryI take the lack of responses by any NETGEAR people as having given up on this site. The 'jedi' rarely post anymore.
- WSJTutorWell - I can only repeat myself: ignorance is fatal.
Once a vendor discontinues to care about his customers he is on the loosing track.
Maybe Netgear is ignoring this forum - their potential customers do not.
And they will draw the right conclusions ... - OOM-9NETGEAR ExpertI have been trying to get additional people to help, but it has been a struggle to get things moving in a timely manner.
It would be ideal to get someone to make sure the site remains up and quality people are able to contribute.
I am trying to keep the site up and helpful, and hopefully I am able to get something moving soon.
