The paths for the shares listed below could not be found
Hi All,
I have an issue with my Ready NAS NV+2
I tried to access my share drive from windows and couldn't, I then tried to access the web front, no joy, and I could not ping the device. I had a check to make sure the NAS was on and it was not responsive when pressing the power button. I pressed it 3 times to shut it down and it did nothing.
As a last resort i pulled the power. On reboot I had an error on the display " No Data Volume"
I logged into the web front and it wasonly showing my 2nd drive not the drive in bay 1 I checked the logs.
The paths for the shares listed below could not be found. Typically, this occurs when the ReadyNAS is unable to access the data volume.
I tried a couple of power cycles and kept getting the same results.
I tried to run a scan
The logs spat out "Volume scan failed to run properly."
I tried moving Disk 1 to bay 3 > still doesn't detect drive.
Remove disk 2 and tried disk 1 in bay 1 and 2 > LED displays Error no disks found.
I upgraded the firmware to: RAIDiator 5.3.11
I'm now out of ideas.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
And BTW I have 2 x 3TB WD green drives installed configured as RAID 0
Let me know if you need further details.
Kind Regards,
craig

Hmm, Unfortunately I dont have a pc where I can plug the disks into. I only have Laptops and tablets.
Any other suggestions? - vandermerweMasterUse a USB to sata adapter connected to a USB port on your laptop.
