The web user interface was slow to load and refresh, normal?
I used to have RN314. The web interface was so slow to load and refresh. Changing between taps takes several seconds. While the Synology NAS was very snappy. I thought it was the slow CPU in the RN314...
No matter is using the RN212, RN516, or the RN628X - never spotted such massive delays ins using the ReadyNAS CGI-based simple Web UI. Of course it can't be as snappy as what you see on the complex Synology or QNAP UIs. One factor is the usage of QUIC instead of TCP with TLS1.2 for example.
