Its not advisable that you insert your drives directly to your ReadyNAS NV+ or to your ReadyNAS Ultra4 because the data might be all wiped out.
It would be best that you back up first the data stored in your existing drives then format them into NTFS format then insert them to your ReadyNAS NV+ then store the files you want.
