I wasn't clear in my first post. I took the Seagate, installed in the ReadyNAS and did a factory reset. It installed the OS, and then when it was up, I ran the update wizard to bring the box up to 4.2.19. After that, I powered down, put the Hitachi drives in there and it just won't boot.
I tried a factory boot with the Hitachi drives, but I cannot get to the boot menu. It just sits there displaying ReadyNAS on the front screen. Never moves from there. I tried this with one drive, two drives and all six drives. No luck.
