Ultra 6
I went to the HCL and picked up an initial 3 disks to crank up the ultra.. and it seems to be working rather nicely. Now, 4 weeks later, I went to reorder the disks to fill the system out, and find...
The initial 3 disks show as healthy... no problems with them. Quiet, not super fast.. but about what I was hoping for.
The rough 6 TB that is there with 3 of the drives is a tad small for doing video editing. I guess I should have just bought 6 at the time. (The site would limit single orders to 5, so I would have had to go back and order 1 or 2...) - I stay on the HCL in all cases but I don't like to mix drive speeds. (And I usually don't like mixing disk brands in a stripe set of any sort...)
