Unable to manage NETGEAR ReadyNAS 3138
A new NETGEAR ReadyNAS user here just purchased NETGEAR ReadyNAS 3138.
Device appears to be online, can ping its IP but cannot manage it via URL: https://IP address/admin. ReadyCloud is'nt finding it either. Not a good start.

Do you have disks installed? What is the status of the health LED on the front panel?
If this is a new NAS (not pre-owned) then you are entitled to installation support via my.netgear.com.

I've tried with a and w/o disks and different Ethernet ports. The power and LAN LEDs have been flashing (green).
After pushing reset button with a pin power LED is now solid green I was ablet to get in.
It's a brand new device. Firmware 6.10.4
Any ideas what the problem could have been?

Linux and the NAS application are installed onto the disks. So you can't access the web ui if disks are not installed.

There can be a "dead" time when the NAS is first installing the OS onto the disks. So that is one possibility - but I really can't tell if that was the cause or not.
