Upgrading HHD
Howdy, just trying to figure this out, and am not sure if this is normal I'm currently upgrading my 3TB HDD's in my Readynas314 to 8TB HDD. Raid 5 All the reading I've done tells me to replace 1 d...
From memory when I did this myself, you start to see the space appear after the sync is complete (without a reboot - I think). Only one drive of largest capacity is reserved, so your results are probably to be expected.
Try the online configuratior and see what it says. I just tried and it shows exactly what you are seeing :)!
