UPS and ReadyNAS
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of using a UPS with the ReadyNAS (specifically RN10400), and http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0042F0JMS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2HTEIJ95CT6K1 ?
I haven't been able to identify whether that model of UPS allows the data RJ232 to usb to plug into the USB on the ReadyNAS to allow shutdown on power failure.
Many thanks,
Jon

- NhellieVirtuosoCheck this thread, probably related. I'm not just sure about the RJ232 to USB plug though, I guess you'll need an Eth to USB.
viewtopic.php?f=88&t=65732 - jon_russ5ApprenticeThanks. Probably a stupid question, but can I expect it to work on my RN10400, assuming it worked on the Pro 2 in the link you supplied?
Thanks again,
Jon
