USB 2.0 External RAID Not Recognized by RN314 with OS 6.2.0
Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a new ReadyNAS 314 running OS 6.2.0. Everything has worked great with only one technical problem. I'm using an old external Iomega RAID enclosure for as a backup...
The NAS sees a Seagate ST3750840AS drive attached with no partition table, which I assume is your iomega drive. Currently we don't support external drives without a partition table, but we will support it in our next firmware release.
Brian, Thanks for your response. The firmware update did not get my RN314 to recognize the external RAID. I'm sending you my log files. Hope that helps. ***
