USB Disk Spin down issue

Hey Folks - Since upgrading from 4.1.6 -> 4.1.7 on my NV, the Maxtor external USB HD attached via one of the rear external USB ports on my NV no longer spins down when the disk isn't being actively...

I have this same problem on a PRO 4 running 4.2.17... the external drive just keeps spinning 24/7.
