- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou can already do a fair bit of what you want.
Frontview backup jobs can be scheduled.
There has been a recycle bin feature for a long time.
With Frontview backup you can do full (total) and incremental backups. With ReadyNAS Replicate (http://www.readynas.com/replicate) you can do full, incremental and differential backups.
In Frontview backup you can use the exclude option if using Rsync
Rsync compares the source and destination and is good for backup verification.
Replicate creates differential backups with the date of the backup in the name of the folder.
From time to time NetGear hints as to what they are doing shortly in advance (e.g. regarding adding Lion support, iSCSI compatibility with ESXI 5). - VarlonAspirant

Hmm...
1.Yes, i know, but the sheduler is quite simple. Good backup sheduler in the ReadyNAS Replicate...
2.Yes, i know, but I need "More functional gui", for example:
http ://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/VFS.html#id409794
http ://www.secaudi.com/blog/?p=40
I can do it manual accross ssh, but more true way is to use "more functional gui", because I invested in development of this product. ;)
3.Yes, i know, very good service/program, but its shareware.
4.Rsync is very good app, but i work in windows network and more simple for me to use smb/cifs.
5.Good, but what features we can expect in this years. Its part of motivations for working with netgear...
(the thecus have not justified our expectations) - VarlonAspirantDear officials, can you post some comments at last?
- PapaBear1ApprenticeThey rarely comment on feature changes before they are tested to the point of being in a Beta of a new release, exceptions noted by mdgm.
This is because they at times attempt to add something, and then either hit some obstacles, or must make a release early for other (security comes to mind) reasons. The Force is aware of posts in this section.
