I had the same problem with a WD My Book Essential 3TB USB 3.0 and my Duo v2, the disk wasn't recognized by the ReadyNAS. After seeing the hardware compatibilty list posted by Chewbacca on September 11, I got myself a Seagate Expansion USB 3.0/2.0 3TB Desktop Drive instead. But the RaedyNAS didn't recognize that one either. :(
As the Seagate Expansion 3.5" HDD is listed on the HCL and tested with the ReadyNAS Due v2, I wonder if the problem is related to the 3TB capacity...
Would this be solved in some future firmware version? I am currently running RAIDiator-arm-5.3.6
