WD RED WD30EFRX not supported in the ReadyNAS 516?
Why on earth are the 1 and 2 TB versions of the RED supported, but not the 3 TB? The 3TB runs in the Pro 6, what makes them unstable in the 516? Thanks.Peet
It just takes a while to get all the sets of disks tested. QA goes through them and tests them out. Then marketing or whoever has control of the websites has to update the site etc. The disks have to be tested in lots of different ways before we claim them as compatible. Let me assure you though, lots of disks are always being tested, and the compatibility list will grow.
