WD RED WD30EFRX not supported in the ReadyNAS 516?
Why on earth are the 1 and 2 TB versions of the RED supported, but not the 3 TB? The 3TB runs in the Pro 6, what makes them unstable in the 516? Thanks.Peet

I think most likely the WD30EFRX hasn't been tested yet or if testing has commenced it hasn't finished yet.
NetGear probably focused their initial drive qualification on the drives they chose to ship in the semi-populated or fully-populated units they sell.
